Hutto ISD has named Rosanna Guerrero as its new Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 16 years of experience in Texas public school finance and a proven track record of supporting high-growth school districts through strategic financial leadership.

Hutto ISD has been named an Exemplary District in the Texas Educational Theatre Association’s 2026 Award of Distinction Program, earning the highest tier awarded by the association for theatre education.

Daniel Sorto did not plan to attend a virtual school. He was a sophomore soccer player with a full schedule, a school building he reported to every day, and a sport he loved. Then a hip injury changed everything, and in the process, introduced him to a different kind of education that he never wanted to leave

After months of excitement, creativity, and community input, Hutto ISD is proud to officially announce the name of its second high school: Creekside High School. The name was approved by the Hutto ISD Board of Trustees on Thursday evening following a community-driven naming process that generated more than 200 submissions.
