Hi! And welcome to the 2016-17 school year. I am so excited to be part of the HippoNation as the Solid Roots teacher at Hutto Middle School. This is my 9th years as an educator, and second year as the HMS Behavior Interventionist in Solid Roots. In my 9 years as an educator, I have served as an interventionist (supporting students in all content areas) and taught 8th grade science, 7th grade ELAR, and 7th grade math. My graduate degree is in evidence-based practices related to Autism intervention. My role in Solid Roots is to provide behavior support and interventions for students, teachers, and parents.
I am available before and after school every day for parent conferences. The Solid Roots classroom extensions are 8007 and 8039, however, the best way to reach me is through school email. Please feel free to contact me any time to discuss your child's progress or any concerns you may have.
